Big smiles, engaging activities, and collaborative efforts ensued during SchoolCity's second annual Arizona Users Group Meeting, which was graciously hosted by Deer Valley Unified School District on September 29th. This event encouraged lively discussions with incredible attendance of over 60 attendee's representing 13 districts, each bringing their best practices and sharing how they use SchoolCity to support data driven action. Sessions included an Arizona Snowball-Basketball game where attendees had the opportunity to get to know other SchoolCity users in an innovative way by discussing topics that pertain to their districts.
Other sessions ranged from tips and shared approaches utilizing data analysis and interpretation in order to inform instruction, intervention, and enrichment. These methodologies impact student achievement, which detail how strategies can be implemented to help students be inspired by, understand, and take ownership of their own data. Additional informational sessions prompted partners to collaborate on organizing their instance to strengthen district practices. At the conclusion of the Arizona’s Users’ Group, attendees walked away full of resources and further enriched. We look forward to another successful event next year!
